“A trip to the mob movies” – In this episode Matt tackles Hollywood and some of the films and topics he knows well, from “White Heat” to “The Irishman”.   He holds Tinsel Town’s feet to the fire over many movies, including Donnie Brasco (Joseph Pistone) and the way he and “Lefty Guns” were portrayed on screen.  He delves into several great directors and films including Francis Ford Coppola and "The Godfather", Scorsese and “Mean Streets”, Judge Edwin Torres and “Carlito’s Way”, "Black Mass "and Whitey Bulger, on and on.  You can see clearly that Matt is fascinated, yet critical about Mob life and its portrayal on the Big Screen and Television.  This is a subject that we will cover many times as View from Mulberry Street unfolds.
