Whenever we want to describe any action that was going on in the past , we use the Past Continuous Tense. For this we use was/were + verb + ing = was running, were playing, was cooking , were teaching . Remember to keep a notebook alongside whenever you are listening to these podcasts. This will help you to register better all that you learn in each episode. It will also help you to recap the content of each episode. Make sure you read your responses aloud and practise the assignments on a daily basis for quicker and better results and fluency. This will also boost your speech and flow of Spoken English.
