Intimacy is what the Lord desires from his children, not just a routine. The Lord wants to know those He created in a deep and intimate way. The love we desire is pure,  but is hard to find in impure things and people. The love Jesus shares and lives out is one of a kind. We can only get that pure love in an intentional relationship with the One who created it and us.
