Today, I am speaking from my heart about the depth of caring that defines the sensitive soul. It is the beautiful, tender, and loving way we experience the world. It is why I call my children "sweetheart," and why I am amazed by how deeply caring my children and the people in my life are.
In this episode, I explore the complexities of being a sensitive soul in a culture that often doesn't understand us. I talk about the coping mechanisms we developed to stay safe, the withdrawal that isn't a flaw but a nervous system signal, and the deep grief and anticipatory sorrow that comes from loving so fiercely. I share my own story of losing my brother at nineteen, the shock that sent me to the depths of pain, and the profound wisdom my mother offered: that she was grateful for the twenty-three years she had with him.
If you are grieving a loss, if you are anticipating a transition, if you feel like you are the only one who feels this deeply, if you have been told you are "too much" or "too emotional," this space is for you.

An Invitation to Carry With You
As you listen, or as you reflect afterward, what grief or sorrow are you carrying that you have been trying to push to the side? What would it feel like to allow yourself to feel it fully, to speak it out loud, or to write it down? Who in your life, past or present, has had an impact on your life that you can honor today?
