Congressional candidate LtCol Jon Myers USMC (ret) joins Whiz on this powerful episode. Jon and Whiz have known each other for over 30 years, starting their friendship at Jacksonville University. LtCol Myers exceptional career in the Marines saw him at the center of major conflicts and critical decisions. From Scott O’Grady being shot down over Bosnia (and eventually rescued with Jon’s help), to being involved in Obama and Clinton’s disastrous response (or lack thereof) to the 9/11 attack on our embassy in Benghazi, LtCol Myer often provided the right solutions and intelligence to the national command authority, only to be overruled because of politics and optics. Even after leaving active service LtCol Myers continued to serve by helping coordinate the evacuation of stranded Americans in Afghanistan, when the president was lying that no Americans were left behind.
