Hollywood has had a dark secret for a very long time. The casting couch was created by word of mouth and held complacent by people in power that were too afraid to do anything about it. So now we have Harvey Weinstein. Who has been exposed for abusing his power to sexually abuse aspiring actresses, or even just people trying to make it in Hollywood. He was revered by many people in Hollywood and Merrill Streep even called him god at an award show. He had powerful political connections as well, but at the end of the day it didn’t help him one bit.
