For many years, Ruth's heart longed to have a child of her own.  While trying to have a child, she battled through the rollercoaster of emotions and became very discouraged and depressed. Every Mother's Day was only a painful occasion for her.  Then one day, while on her hands and knees mopping the floor, she was listening to the story of Hannah and sensed God promising her a child of her own.
