I love this quote because it reminds us that all is not lost, and that we have a great deal of control over the shaping of our future.

The past plays a part in our life, but it does not have to dictate our future, UNLESS we allow it to.

We can apply this to any and all areas of our lives… and when we change one thing, we change everything else.

When we use our personal power, much can be accomplished in life, even when circumstances are not ideal.

Although it’s better to take advantage or good circumstances… as in “the best time to get a new job is while you have a job”, there will be times when we’ll have to do our best in spite of what going on in our lives that’s beyond our control.
