The entire chapter is good and the verses that really checked me was

Ch 8:5-6

(5) Whoever obeys his command will come to no harm, and the wise heart will know the proper time and procedure. (6) For there is a proper time and procedure for every matter, though a person may be weighed down by misery.

My Check: There is a proper time for everything when the King is ready. The no's you are getting rather from your family, friends, enemy, frienemy, you. When God is ready it is time.

(9) All this I saw, as I applied my mind to everything done under the sun. There is a time when a man lords over others to his own hurt.

My Check: You have to apply God's timing to everything because if you don't you will end up doing things out of order that will hurt you. It's not just the process; it's the timing of each step of the process.

Down to whom you marry, what job you take or don't take, obedience to what God wants even down to timing on how you spend your money.
