Minimum wage is important because many people in the labor market are unable or unwilling to advocate for themselves.

Often this is due to mindset. People see themselves as low-wage workers, only worth what some big company will pay them.

What if everyone realized that they could make money making web sites or copy writing or doing Internet research or any number of things that a person can make money at remotely?

What would it do to the labor market if even a third of low wage workers realized they could make better money in less time working from home?

It would force wages up because companies would have to compete with every person's ability to make money entrepreneurially.

My mission is to spread this word so far and wide that it impacts the labor market. It doesn't mean everyone has to go off and start a side hustle or a business. It works even if you are simply aware that you have the option when you negotiate with your boss!
