Welcome to Sleepy Scriptures. Before we begin I'd like to thank Rayleatt and Lori. I'm so grateful for your generous support.

Today we begin the book of First Corinthians with chapters 1 and 2. This New Testament book is the first of two letters that were written by Paul the apostle to the church in Corinth. Paul wrote this letter from Ephesus around the year 55 a.d.

I’ll read Psalm 78 today, and begin the Old Testament book of 2 Samuel with chapters 1 to 4.

There's a lot going on in the world, and sometimes we need respite from the troubling events of our time. I invite you to spend some special time right now with just you and the eternal words of the Bible. So take a few breaths, sit back or curl up and get comfy, as I read to you episode 75 of Sleepy Scriptures.
