Episode 75 - The Inevitable Return Of The Great White North
Canada, eh? A beautiful country, rich in history and culture, and richer still in maple syrup and smiles. Being from Michigan, we are certainly no strangers to the most genial of all US neighbors. Sure they are responsible for Nickelback and Three Days Grace, which in and of itself is worthy of a border wall, but they also gave us Tim Horton’s, IMAX, and peanut butter, so we’ll just call it good. One thing that probably doesn’t come to mind when you think of Canada, however, is horror. The place is so beautiful, and the people are so friendly, it’s hard to imagine anything terrible happening there, but we know better. This week we grabbed some of Canada’s finest brews, Moosehead and Molson Ice, as well as some CBS (Canadian Breakfast Stout) from Founders Brewery here in Michigan, and discussed a couple movies that delve into the darker side of The Great White North.
FILMS WE DISCUSSED
- TUSK (2014)
- PONTYPOOL (2008)
