When I was a teacher, the best classrooms I was ever involved in. The best times I ever had is when there was open communication and two-way dialogue between the teacher and the children, including the children in the process of their own growth and development. The support they brought to me as a teacher was just as important as I brought to them. That then didn't have me as an authority figure hit me as collaborative.
