"Your worth exists because you're imperfect." - Danelle Nielson
I have been looking forward to sharing this conversation with my good friend Danelle for months and months. We finally got it recorded, and it doesn't disappoint (in my opinion).
Danelle and I both love Brene Brown, learning how to be vulnerable, eating amazing food, and talking about ADD, yes that so-called "disorder" known for making people have distractable brains. Danelle was diagnosed with it in grad school and I've been deeply fascinated by that kind of brain for years -- most of my best friends are wired that way.
As I've learned more and more about the differences in our brains and how much that impacts our self-perception and self-worth, I've come to believe that there are no mistakes about how we come to planet Earth. We all have innate strengths and weaknesses, and the ability to own those is what sets us free to enjoy our time here.
This episode is about a lot of things, but mostly it's about experiencing the relief of letting yourself be yourself.
