What is one thing that you've been afraid to ask for?

Money?

A favor?

New clothes?

A promotion?

Why are you afraid to ask? James 4:2-3 says that you don't have because you don't ask, and when you do ask you don't receive because you ask with the wrong motive. Now here's the problem … as a believer having the wrong motive feels like you're failing in your faith. So, in order to avoid that failure, your brain tells you that it's best not to ask.

The Christian culture has almost villainized "asking" for things and glorified the idea of suffering. Yet, what if God desires for you to have the desires of your heart, and as a loving father would, what if He wants you to become the person that can handle what comes so it doesn't destroy you?

In today's episode we discuss why learning how to ask is crucial to you succeeding in your God given assignment.
