People are ever changing. When we get on track and start something we don’t realize what the point of the journey is until it’s over. Finding the right people to surround yourself with, even get into a relationship with is a part of the process. Kekua found her way through everything but it wasn’t until the smoke cleared.
After her divorce, Kekua decided it was time to create her business HBIC (Head Bitch In Charge) where she is a Leader for Women mentoring them onto the path to success. She is also an Author and a wonderful loving mother of two.
Jeff host’s special guest Kekua as she speaks about why she carries her passion for helping other women break the standard that they are given. Dealing with an unhealthy relationship is one of the most difficult things a person can do- you never realize what the situation is until it’s already happened. Kekua shares how she found clarity and built herself to where she is today.

“All these things they’re negative if you’re a woman, if you stand for yourself, if you have self respect. All these things that you and I understand are positive- these are important. But as I was growing up if you had any of that you were a bitch. That was a bad thing and of course people put names on you when they want you to retract from it, withdraw from it, be afraid of it, but I do have self respect now. I have learned to love myself, I do stand up for myself, I do know what I deserve. So if a bitch is what you want me to be then Baby I’m a bitch .”
