On this episode of 'Radio Islam', I had the pleasure of interviewing Wassim Hassan of 'Traversing Tradition' once again, only this time around we decided to speak on his experiences in the western academy and the traditional madrasa setting. We explore the differences between western educational institutions and their methodologies as opposed to the way sacred knowledge is disseminated in the traditional madrasa environment with Muslim clerics.
