Although we would like to believe, once we've claimed salvation through repentance, no matter how long ago we're good through eternity, not so! The flesh that we're encased in is drawn to Sin like a magnet! Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to repent daily and to rekindle the fires of desire to Please our God, like we did at the start of the relationship ,because over time it tends to diminish. Every relationship needs devotion, love & attention, especially our Vow to being the Bride of Christ. Don't let the Fire die, stir up the ashes of Intimacy with God!
