Ep. 79: Juan Lee | Being Broken Down & Built Back Up
Today we discuss learning disabilities and being broken down and built back up.
Welcome back to the 79th episode of the Hard Thing Podcast.
Today I share my conversation with author and Air Force veteran, Juan Lee. Juan has written his new book "Love Made Simple" and you can reach out to him on his website, juanleetheauthor.com, where you can sign up for his newsletter and get insights from his book.
We start off the show by talking about Juan's experience with his learning disability, which he did not know about until he was in his 30's.
We also talk about his experience in school and what his plans were after that. We then discuss his joining the Air Force and how he had to pass a reading test and that was his biggest obstacle.
We then talk about Juan's family and the great example his parents gave him. Juan's mother died when he was young but he and his family pushed on to honor her memory.
It was a great conversation with some tender moments.
As always, Juan left us some action items.
