A Gallup poll stated that every year disengaged employees cost the US economy 370 billion dollars. And the primary driver of that loss productivity is poor management. A lack of training is reflected in another report which found that less than 1/3 of all managers were perceived to be strong leaders.
In this episode, we talk with Erica Bernal-Martinez, a Deputy Executive Director with the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) Educational Fund. Erica serves as the internal leader of this national non-profit organization. With over 15 years of leadership and management experience, Erica has led diverse programs, strategies, and teams that have helped organizations achieve their mission.
