Today we are having a conversation with Sindile Vabaza. Sindile is an avid writer and researcher. He’s an author on the Mail & Guardian, News24, BusinessLive, Daily Friend to name and numerous other good South African news and opinion platforms, and he an aspiring economist.

We’re talking today about the 8-day strike which we all witnessed in the Western Cape between the City of Cape Town and SANTACO which left thousands stranded and many injured in its wake.

Sindile answers the questions on how we got here, how we can have a thriving public transport system where all are subject to the rule of law and what we citizens should expect from the people that govern us.

I end off with a biblical take on what our expectations should be of our leaders, and what God commands of us as Christians when it comes to how we relate to those in power.
