Homeownership plays a vital role in helping build strong, stable communities. It boosts the economy and is beneficial to accumulating wealth. According to today's figures based on rental and deposit payments, it is better to own than to rent.

The latest home ownership stats published in Feb 2020 in the UK shows that 63% of households in England owned their own home. Highest by ethnic groups were Indians with 74% Indian households, 68% White British households and shockingly 20% Black African households.
