What would it be like to live on the Earth at the time that the Savior did?

For a long time, I thought that it would be a lot easier to believe in the Savior if I lived when He did and actually got to see His miracles and his ministry.

This is a song I wrote with those thoughts in mind, and what happened as a result of pondering about those ideas. This song, though written to try and touch other people's hearts, has blessed my life and strengthened my testimony.

In this episode I’ll share with you:

* I'll share some of the stories behind this song* I'll tell you how pondering different events from the Savior's life, helped to strengthen my testimony,* I'll take you back through some of those events of the Savior's life, and what some of that might have been like.

I've spent some time these last couple weeks orchestrating this song, and creating not just a beautiful arrangement, but also a video to accompany the song. I was so grateful to have gotten permission from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to use some of their beautiful Bible Video footage. I hope this song will add to your Easter celebration and thoughts in pondering at this beautiful Easter season.

Today’s inspirational message is about the Savior, reflecting on His Ministry, the things He did and being able to recognize him as our savior. Do you believe in the Savior, or is it hard for you to believe in someone that lived over 2000 years ago? I always imagined it would be so much easier to believe if I lived at the time Christ did, when he walked the Earth, and actually got the see the miracles and healing that he performed. In this episode, we’ll talk about what it might have been like to live when Christ did and the differences in faith experienced between then and now. Is there even a difference? I’ll also share with you my song, “If I’d Been there”. It’s one of my favorites, and never fails to help me feel the spirit and to appreciate the Savior and all He has done for me.
