I loved having Alli Earnest on the podcast to talk about her writing journey starting with fanfiction, and writing a science fantasy book with inspiration from Star Wars, Pride & Prejudice, The Odyssey, and so much more.  

Alli Earnest is the author of the Gate Chronicles series, a no spice science fantasy series that she likes to describe as Rogue One meets Pride & Prejudice. She likes writing epic fantasy books within sci-fi worlds. Alli grew up reading and re-reading her favorite fantasy books as well as dreaming of the day she’d write her own. When not penning (or typing) her next novel, she can be found buying too many candles, playing various sports and boardgames, and doing life with her husband and two kids.
