This week on the Approximate Knowledge Podcast we have some talk about Texas Textbooks and the announcement of Japan leaving the IWC and resuming commercial whaling.

Texas seems to have this huge influence on what goes inside of a textbook.

Japan has announced that they will be leaving the International Whaling Commission (IWC) on June 30th and will resume commercial whaling in July. This is a rare move for Japan and has taken some time to decide. There were three major events that helped Japan decide whether to withdraw from the IWC.
