In this episode, Saints RB1 Alvin Kamara has earned the honor of being the subject of the latest edition of our 28 to 3 Pod patented "Game Show" debate format - which determines where a specific Saints player ranks - in our "expert" opinion - at his position, when stacked up against players of the same position on every NFL team. It's no secret that AK isn't the same as he used to be, and many Saints fans have said he appears to have "lost a step", so where do does he rank in the NFL, when given the choice between him and the top running back of any other given team in the NFL? LISTEN IN to find out. The final answer is not one you'd have suspected even two or three years ago.
Also, as we often do, we drifted into a completely unrelated discussion, BUT it was a good one. Is Marques Colston or Joe Horn the best Saints Wide Receiver of all-time? Quiet Storm or BBQ Sauce Mogul? Is it a crazy take to say it's Colston? Should Joe Horn be given that distinction? Is Horn too often forgotten about in that discussion in light of the recency bias of Mike Thomas and Colston? Definitely a fun discussion to get in on. Needless to say, we disagreed a good bit on this one.
