From Henrico, Virginia (near Richmond), BG brings a hip-hop flow to spoken word conveying messages of peace, resistance, justice, and eroticism. BG also lived for a time near D.C. (Silver Spring, MD) and in Chicago for 6 years. BG has a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a Masters degree in Public Administration. BG currently runs a small business and also works at a nonprofit home energy efficiency organization.
