Remember, don’t just Join the Movement, Be the Movement!
Denise is a wife, mother of three adult children and grandmother of five grandsons and a great-granddaughter. With experiences that span more than twenty years, Denise has worked in the field of social services, child and youth development and has been employed as a therapist for the adolescent population.
Denise has endured and victoriously overcome personal challenges during her own formative years. These challenges have served as a catalyst for her to render counseling services to other women as she has ministered in women’s groups, women’s retreats, churches, and conferences. She has served as a strong advocate to assist women in being empowered to face life’s obstacles at shelters and prisons. Offering support and locating resources for women has positioned her to take action during this season in her life, thus the organization of Heart 2 Heart Services.
She holds the belief in treating everyone with dignity and helping others advance emotionally, spiritually, and physically, realizing their self-worth and self-value which will enable them to live the life that God intended for them, before the foundations of the world. Denise holds a Master’s degree in Human Services: Marriage and Family Counseling, a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling and is a Licensed Associate Counselor. One of her many favorite scriptures is: Lamentations 3:21 “This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning, great is thy faithfulness.
