(Luke 22:31-34). Before Peter denies the Lord, Jesus gives the apostle a sobering prediction—a prophecy that would ultimately lead him back to the Christ. But Jesus also will manifest His care and concern for  the faith of His followers when He lets Peter know, “I have prayed for you.”
