An opinion article from Law Enforcement Today reports that on 5/15/24 an Anti-Christian group demanded that Birmingham, Alabama Police Department stop praying before their shifts. The group suggests that "multiple" concerned residents, including a department employee, informed the group that a pastor is regularly invited to the department to "proselytize, read bible passages, and lead devotionals and prayers during mandatory staff roll calls."
