This episode was a little different than most. Instead of interviewing a current founder we decided to chat with Philip Williams, a serial entrepreneur turned business consultant. Philip joined the Navy as a young man then went to college and finally to business school. During his career he worked in manufacturing, distribution, engineering consulting, and professional services.
In 2004 he became the CEO of an engineering consulting firm and helped the company get into the coveted Inc5000 list from 2007 through 2009 before the company was sold. His next business venture grew over 80% in 8 months before a variety of factors caused him to shut it down. After these experiences he began thinking that other business leaders might benefit from what he had learned so he began consulting to help other entrepreneurs navigate through their own business problems.
