The Saints first preseason game of 2024 is in the books, and after much anticipation, we got our first in-game glimpse into the Klint Kubiak offense…or did we? In reality a far less than vanilla approach on offense yielded an unproductive outing for the starters, but of course some old concerns reared their ugly heads despite the “new” system and full offseason to improve. We dive deep into what we thought is most in need of correction after the first dose of game action, even with the preseason “grain of salt.”

On the bright side, the defense showed some toughness, including outstanding play by new pickups and some rookies. Listen in to hear who we thought excelled on that side of the ball. Some names might surprise.
