There’s been ample coverage on what states will be hot for cannabis and those who work to insure cannabis businesses – especially on the Insuring Cannabis podcast – but not much on what it’s like to service these businesses in these states, particularly the newly legal states. For our first podcast of the new year, we spoke with Erich Schnieider, managing director at Alpharoot, which has been active in new markets lately, about the hurdles as well as advantages of selling insurance to operators in certain states.
