In her fifties, Carolyn completely lost her sight. However, in spite of the initial sadness and grief associated with losing her sight, she was able to learn how to live life with meaning and purpose, overcoming the paralyzing fears that threatened to hold her life in bondage. God prompted her to begin writing devotionals to encourage others to trust in God's faithfulness in spite of life's setbacks and struggles. Today, Carolyn is a Christian author, teacher, and speaker whose life is filled with joy and purpose.
