In this episode, I talk about being diagnosed (officially) with ADHD. Turns out it's actually a lot more common in adults these days to be misdiagnosed and spend their entire lives thinking something is 'wrong' with them. This was something I'd experienced my entire life. The constant need to 'fix' myself was something that I felt like I was failing at always. But since finding out more about what ADHD actually is and how it's affected me in my life, well, life started to make a hell of a lot more sense, to be honest.
I feel like a lot keeps changing in my life because everything that is happening is happening a) super quick and b) I'm becoming more aware of myself in the process of it all. The feeling of being misunderstood my entire life has been something that I battled with as not only a kid but also as a teenager and so this diagnosis, it's filled in a lot of the blanks for me as well as helped me cut a lot of old ties and limiting beliefs that were no longer serving me in the slightest.
It's been a wild ride so far my friends and it kind of feels like it's just beginning.
