In this episode, we had the privilege of speaking with Chrisann Jarrett, MBE, the CEO of We Belong, an organisation dedicated to helping young migrants campaign for a more equitable future. Chrisann's own experience of struggling against unfair immigration policies that blocked her from attending university fuelled her passion to make a change. She was inspired by the US Dreamers' movement and joined forces with a group of over 300 young activists to challenge the system and create more equitable access to education for young migrants.
In our conversation, Chrisann shares her insights as a young female leader of We Belong, discussing both the highs and lows of her campaigning experience. She also provides valuable information on how you can get involved with We Belong to become a part of our mission to empower and support young migrants!
Are you a young migrant looking for a supportive community where you can learn, grow, and thrive? We Belong is the place for you! Join us in this episode to learn more about what we have to offer and how you can get involved.
This episode features music from our very own Manchester core group member, Tobi (Micah Stalgic).
