Susie Silver taught in the public school system for 18 years. She's also a professional artist, mom to two children, activist within the LGBTQ community, a senior consultant at The Diversity Movement and wonderful person & friend. The Diversity Movement is a full-service diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) consultancy that includes a team of experts using a customized mix of online learning, tools, events, and consulting services to show businesses and teams how to use DEI practices. The practices are used to drive growth, improve recruiting, and enhance culture.
We’re talking with Susie about her work but we’re also talking about the struggles we all face to live an authentic life. She shares her experience of discovering her truth as well as the hurdles and joy she’s faced along the way of listening to her inner voice and becoming her truest self.
