Chris can pinpoint his fitness journey right back to one afternoon in his teenage years when he came home & sat on the sofa. Sofas & fitness don’t usually go together, but on this occasion Chris was so inspired by what he saw on the TV that it set him onto a new path…
What he saw was the NFL Super Bowl & he was inspired to explore how the American culture approaches sports. This led him to explore sports performance, to go to a University that played American Football, & ultimately to do his Personal Training qualification.
At the beginning of his Fitness journey, for Chris it was ALL about performance & training to be as strong as possible. But as the years have gone on his relationship with Fitness has evolved. Now it’s all about: how can my fitness support my life? It’s about being fit for that ski trip, for that climbing session with friends, for those daily dog walks.
Chris is all about cultivating a Movement Mentality. How can we make movement part of our daily life? Not something that feels like another chore we have to tick off.
Oh, and Lucy & Chris just so happen to be together IRL, so they talk about how together they’ve created a life they truly love, & how they have redefined what success means to them as individuals & as a couple, to enable them to life their fullest & happiest lives.
