Kim talks with fellow transracial Vietnamese adoptee, poet & writer, Kevin Minh Allen. He talks about having three different names until finally being adopted by a family in Rochester, New York, getting into fights as a kid, and the time he traveled to Vietnam and was asked by a station guard if he was "Vietnamese." Kevin's poetry has been featured widely in publications such as the Journal of Southeast Asian American Education Advancement, Aileron, Monkey King, HazMat Literary Review, and Chrysanthemum.
