Starting out in life, Matt began his journey as a “jock,” excelling in wrestling, making his way to college until he discovered the magic of music. From here, his passions took root and he developed an exceptional ability to teach, motivating students to find their true selves in their talents and leveraging it to perform at an exceptional level. Some of his students have gone on to work with the Jonas Brothers and grace the unattainable stages of Broadway.
In this episode, Jeff and Matt talk about the early years of struggling most people face when revealing their true talents despite being doubted by those who were close to him, the importance of being yourself, struggles with physical health, and the innate power each one of us has to change our lives in one decision.
