Merry Christmas! I hope you're having a GREAT holiday weekend with family or friends, but most of us know there may be situations that come up that require some help.
You can't follow a safety plan you didn't write. A safety plan is how we can think through and plan for potential red flag or yellow flag situations. If we plan ahead and we know what we will do in case of bad situations or conflict, then we are already half way through it! It is far better to have a safety plan you didn't need than to need one you don't have.
I have uploaded a template in the Hope Bound Facebook Group that you may find helpful, it's pinned to the top and will be under "files." Check out the template and if it doesn't work for you, try to write out your own style. Ask someone to be part of your safety plan and let them know ahead of time how they can help you.
