It’s kind of amazing to realize that our kids these days don’t experience “outside” like we use to. From having friends knocking on our doors asking if we can come outside and play, to riding bikes miles and miles away from our homes with our friends just to “hang out”. Digital runs everything now and I’ve taken it upon myself to dig back into my childhood to share things with my kids to help them grow and experience life outside the confines of a computer screen. Stand By Me was a life changer for me as a kid and I’ll explain how it has a special place for my kids and I on this episode.
