Tyler Jorgensen is  an assistant professor of internal Medicine at Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin.  He has a special interest in medical humanities, including narrative medicine and music therapy for patients with serious illness. Dr. Jorgensen practiced community emergency medicine for a decade in Austin, Texas, serving in various medical director roles before pursuing fellowship training in hospice and palliative medicine. He hosts the podcast My Medical Mix Tape which explores music and medicine, grief and joy, life and death, and everything in between.
