Right about now, or maybe a few days ago, you've likely started to see all the weight loss programs, plans, and supplements promising to change your life.
Maybe your friends are telling you about their juice detox, their no sugar shenanigans, the new workout routine, or any other number of regimented and structured plans they are starting.
Setting a resolution isn't a bad thing. The New Year can be an excellent time to reassess your life and what you like, what's going well, and what you want to change. But what typically happens is you come off the heels of the holidays after having consumed all the food, doing little to no exercise, and being out of your typical routine. Then, you naturally reach to something extreme because "I can't keep doing this!! I have to get back on track!". Only to be beating yourself up 2 weeks later, wondering why it didn't work.
In this episode, I talk about rest, and why you need it more now than ever, the importance of finding and keeping your own routine, and how to check in with yourself to see if the resolution you are creating will last.
