Have you met someone online who was totally not who they are in real life? If you have, you have been cat-fished!!  

While there are people who do the above, more often, people tend to prefer to "harmlessly" portray themselves with a more seemingly perfect life.

Having the perfect angle for photos, frequent travelling, leading the lifestyle of affluence.... etc....  But in reality they are not the same. 

There is a reality and social media gap of perspective.  Why do people do it?
