Richard Chase is an American Serial killer with a very troubling, and gruesome story. His spree only lasted a month, but it was violent and disturbing to say the least. He was criminally insane, and when released from the institution that he was staying at, his mother decided to take him off of his medications that lead to him being released, leading up to a quick and violent killing spree.
