I want my platform to always be one of diversity.
This week I had an amazing opportunity to have my friend, Jennie Honore, as a special podcast guest to help make that statement true.
We were able to address some of the challenges that a person of color faces in America today.
This topic is sensitive, and we wanted to take the time to delicately piece together and present a beautiful conversation of becoming united and understanding.
She nailed it.
Jennie tells us what we can do and how she thinks we can help peacefully and full of understanding one another.
Her story is raw, real, and difficult.
We hear her experiences that have happened in the past and the unfortunate and devastating truth that racism and profiling do still exist. She not only shares her own stories, but also her brother’s, and even an incident that involved her son and the reality that they live in.
We want you to take the time to listen to those stories and encourage you to have these tough conversations with your friends and family. To become enlightened and to learn how to help in these difficult times.
You can be the difference.
We can be the difference.
United.
