Anuj, a first generation entrepreneur, started his first company faXappeal while he was in college and exited that when he was 20. Anuj then worked with AT & T in New York. Anuj returned to India from his year long sabbatical & founded Final Quadrant at the age of 22, which got awarded for the best customer experience technology in the world by Microsoft and sold that in 2004. Anuj then Co-founded Prepay point in New York, a retail business with 13000 outlets and over $400 million in revenue and very successfully exited in 2008. Anuj appeared on the cover page of the Information Week Magazine -USA for the business success. CNBC covered Anuj in their Young Turks programme as one of the very few 1st generation entrepreneurs. As the Managing Trustee of Sukarma Trust, the trust has enabled education, medical treatment, water provisioning, eye camps, yoga camps for a large number of people across India. Anuj co-produced the movie “Soul of Sand”. The movie got co-funded by the Hubert Bals fund & voted by Forbes as the 10 top movies of 2011. Anuj serves on the Board of Directors of Subhkam Ventures. a house hold name in public market Investments in India and is a co- investor in the deals. Anuj holds 2 leading edge patents which he hopes to use in one of his future investments. Anuj keeps getting invited on the panel of judges of business schools and for an opinion on varied topics. Anuj was invited by the European Commission & a few Business Schools to give a speech on Entrepreneurship. An avid squash player, Anuj was the Indian national champion in 1994. He was also awarded as the Captain & Sportsman of the year at Stephen’s College 1997. Anuj received a recommendation from the Chairperson of Rhodes scholarship from India in 1997. Anuj is based between London & NewYork and is interested in new AI & Algorithm driven technologies which address a large macro and produce super normal returns for the stakeholders.
