There's a song by Garth Brooks called, "Unanswered Prayers." If you've never heard it, listen to it as soon as you can. It's a perfect song to listen to in the moment you look up in your life and realize it's completely different than it was 5 years ago, and in a good way.
There are so many paths we take, and so many journeys we go on in order to discover and uncover the essence of who we are. It's the search for the reason we're here. Not mankind, but us personally. Part of our lives have been mapped out and the rest is determined by the choices we make.
In this episode, Jeff takes a deep dive in a short period of time to share his upbringing as a Catholic, and while he's no longer practicing, he is a spiritual person who believes you can pray to God without being in a building.
Jeff talks about the importance of making time to live in reflection, gratitude, and a realization he had about the last 10 years of his life that you may share as well.
He talks about some important lessons he learned during his time on the farm with his father and grandfather and how he believes things always happen for a reason.
In this episode you'll learn:
Moments of joy, sorrow, and calm, will come and go, but there's a message in each one of those moments.
Be sure to take some time. Take it in. Breathe.
Remember, everything and everyone you meet is by intention, and it's all for a reason.
Sometimes you won't know until time has been allowed to flow by.
