Happy Humpday squad!
Helpful note: We went in on football talk a lot longer than we planned, so if you want to skip to the meat and potatoes of the main topic, fast forward to the 30 minute mark.
How many people do you know live with chronic anxiety? How do they deal with it? Maybe it's you. How do you deal with your anxiety? Binge eating drinking, working out (more), laying in bed all day..? It's normal, especially in today's crazy ass world, to have anxiety from time to time, but all forms of anxiety have one common denominator - worrying about things you don't have full control over. That test you're nervous about, the job you want, your relationship(s).. whatever it may be, you worry about the unknown. You worry about whether or not it's going to work out "in your favor," which is an issue in itself. The world doesn't revolve around you and your wants/needs.
Working out is a great way to deal with stress, don't get me wrong, but working out harder or more is NOT the answer. You're already stressed out. Putting more stress on your body is going to do nothing but cause more issues. The sooner you can understand that no particular thing or event is going to make or break you.. the sooner you accept that all you can do is give your best effort and let the cards fall where they may, the sooner you'll be able to beat your anxiety and live a life worth living.
We hope y'all enjoy this episode and get some value out of it! If this resonates with you - great! If someone comes to mind when listening, please send it to them and help us continue growing and impacting as many people as possible!
